For the first time, the workers are returning home on a flight. A flight for laborers in Mumbai has left for Ranchi. With the help of NGOs, 177 laborers were transported to the airport.

Workers are being brought in with the help of NGOs CM Soren said - two flights will also come from Andaman You must have seen the workers on foot, hanging from the truck or going home by bus-train, but for the first time, the workers are returning home on a flight. A flight with laborers in Mumbai has left for Ranchi. With the help of NGOs, 177 laborers were transported to the airport. When these flights land in Ranchi, the Labor Minister himself will be present at the airport.

The line of 177 migrant laborers started at 2 am at the Mumbai International Airport. These laborers arrived at 6 am to fly on an Air Asia flight. Priyanka Raman of Bangalore Law School Alumni Association was making sure that everyone reached the airport or not. The alumni association of this law school, along with some NGOs, not only gathered the migrants from different parts of Mumbai but also arranged for their air tickets. Priyanka Raman says that we knew that there are many migrants from Ranchi,
Who wanted to go back, so we tried and decided to send back.

Priyanka says that we had decided to send back the laborers of such a state where the transport connectivity is poor. In the end we decided that we will send back the people of Jharkhand. For this the alumni alumni organized the funding, which included tickets, airport fees and transport fees for all the migrants.

A large number of workers are returning to Jharkhand by airplane today. The happiness of these workers is clearly visible. Manju Devi, who is going home, says that we are going back because there is no guarantee that work will start again. We will not return now. We have faced a lot of problems here for the last two months.

Manju's husband was a driver in Virar. Recalling those difficulties for the last two months, Manju says that there was very little food and it was difficult to manage it with young children. She says that it will be difficult to run a house in Jharkhand, but at least they will be at home. Priya Sharma, part of the campaign to send migrants home, says that we know that there were not many trains to Ranchi, so we were looking for stranded migrants in Mumbai and Pune. He said that it was not easy to convince the migrants for the flight, Because in recent times many people were confused. Activists and alumni groups say they will be ready to send more migrant workers to the states if they get support from other state governments.

At the same time, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that it is a matter of happiness that the workers of Jharkhand are returning to their state from the plane. Two more flights will soon land in Ranchi to bring the stranded people to Andaman. He says that the state government is bearing the flight fare.
