Aurangabad Train Accident: Train passes over migrant laborers sleeping on the track in Aurangabad, 17 dead

According to the information received, everyone was sleeping on the railway track. This accident happened on the Aurangabad Jalna railway line (jalna aurangabad railway line). Karmad police is on the spot. The incident happened on the Aurangabad-Jalna railway line at 5.15 am on Friday. 17 migrant laborers sleeping on the tracks near the flyover died on the spot.


All these migrant laborers were from Madhya Pradesh and were going towards Bhusaval to catch the train. All the laborers used to work in Iron Fountain in Jalgaon. On Thursday also the train from Aurangabad to Madhya Pradesh was run. The workers slept on the track between Badanpur and Karamad after walking 35-36 km. All are residents of Shahdol in Madhya Pradesh. On this incident, the PRO of South Central Railway said that these goods were empty rakes of the train. RPF and local police are reaching the spot.


Four workers were seriously injured in this accident. They all worked in a private company. It was told that after traveling all day, he slept on the track to rest at night. Officials said that the accident occurred after the passing of a freight train.

All people had traveled 45 kilometers and were from Madhya Pradesh. The SP said that women and children were not included in the dead. This incident happened around 5:15 am on Friday. There was a plan to return to Madhya Pradesh via special train from Bhusaval.
