On May 27, 2020, at 4.33 pm, NASA will send two American astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) by placing them in indigenous rockets from American soil. The names of the American Astronauts who go to the space station for manned missions are Robert Benken and Douglas Hurley.

Astronauts will go to ISS with this rocket

Both these astronauts will be sent to the ISS by the spacecraft Dragon of the American company Space-X. Explain that Space-X is the company of American industrialist Elon Musk. The company is working on several future space missions in collaboration with the US space agency NASA.

Mission Name Demo-2 Mission

The rocket will be launched from Florida's launch complex 39A, placing Space-X's Dragon Spacecraft on top of America's most trusted rocket Falcon-9. Explain that this mission has been named Demo-2 mission. In the Demo-1 mission, the Dragon Spacecraft was successfully delivered to the ISS.

Douglas Hurley will be the commander of Dragon Spacecraft

Douglas Hurley will be the commander of the Dragon spacecraft. Who will undertake the launch, landing and recovery. While Robert Benken will docking, undocking and determining its path in this mission. Let me tell you that in the past also, the International Space Station has visited twice (in 2008 and 2010). He has also done spacewalk three times.

At the same time, Douglas Hurley has also visited the space station twice. First time in 2009 and second time in 2011. Douglas was a civil engineer by profession. Later in the year 2000, he was associated with NASA. Prior to this he was a fighter pilot in the US Marine Corps.

Both astronauts will remain at the space station for 110 days
